Login Form

Table Of Contents

The Academy Login Form block adds a self-contained log-in form to any page, letting students and instructors sign in without visiting the default WordPress login screen. Use it to build a branded login page that matches the rest of your site.

How to access

1.Go to Pages > Add New (or edit an existing page) to open the block editor.
2.Click the block inserter (+) and search for Academy Login Form. Select it to insert the block.
3.With the block selected, open the Block tab in the settings sidebar to configure the form title, labels, and redirect behavior.

If you view the page while already logged in, Academy shows a “You are logged in” message with a link to the dashboard instead of the form. Preview the page in a private/incognito window, or while logged out, to see the actual login form.

Block settings

Form title — heading text shown above the fields. Defaults to “Log In into your Account”.
Username field label — label and placeholder text for the username/email field.
Button text — text on the submit button. Defaults to “Log In”.
After logging in, go to — URL to redirect to after a successful login. Leave empty to keep the visitor on the current page’s dashboard equivalent (Academy’s default redirect).
Registration page — URL used for the “Register Now” link shown under the form. Leave empty to use Academy’s default student registration page.

The block also supports the standard WordPress Color, Typography, Border, and Spacing panels, plus three block styles (Default, Card, Minimal) selectable from the Styles panel, so the form can be restyled to match your theme without custom CSS.

The form includes a Remember me checkbox and a Reset password link automatically; both are handled by Academy’s built-in authentication endpoints, no extra configuration is required.
