Steps to Use reCAPTCHA #

Step 1: Go to the Google reCAPTCHA website admin console and sign in with your Google account.

Step 2: Create a new site by clicking on the “+ Register a New Site” button. For this new site, you must provide a label there. You can use this label to locate the site in the future. 

Step 3: Choose the reCAPTCHA type you wish to use. The choices are as follows:

• reCAPTCHA v2: The “I’m not a robot” checkbox must be selected in order to proceed with the reCAPTCHA v2 challenge. But, Google will validate the request in the background if you select the “Invisible reCAPTCHA badge” option.
• reCAPTCHA v3: Based on a user’s activity on your website, the reCAPTCHA v3 creates a score in the background. Google won’t bother the user with any verification challenges if the score is sufficient.

Choose the correct reCAPTCHA type. Because only that particular reCAPTCHA version will operate with the keys created for it.

Step 4: Add the domains for your website where reCAPTCHA will be used. Several legitimate domains may be entered here. Keep in mind that you don’t have to mention the subdomains here individually. Using the parent domain, Google will automatically obtain the subdomains.

Step 5: Enter the email address of the person to whom you wish to provide ownership of the site key. The reCAPTCHA report of your websites may be accessed using the email addresses given in this section.

Remember to tick the “Send notifications to owners” box. As a result, anytime Google notices any setup errors, an increase in spam or questionable traffic, it will issue an email alert. As a result, you can tackle the problem right away.

After that, click the SUBMIT button after agreeing to the reCAPTCHA rules.

By hitting the “Submit” button, you will immediately receive your Site Key and Secret Key. Make copies of these keys and keep them in a safe place. I’m done now! Your secret key and site key for Google reCAPTCHA have been successfully created. These keys may now be pasted on the Tutor LMS settings page.

reCAPTCHA Integration with Academy LMS #

Go to Academy LMS > Settings > Advanced > reCAPTCHA and Enable reCAPTCHA. Use Google reCAPTCHA versions 2 or 3 for spam prevention. The site key and secret key input fields will appear as two additional text fields.
