Host lesson videos on Gumlet and play them securely in Academy LMS. Gumlet uses signed URLs, so only logged-in, allowed students can watch, and the video link can’t simply be copied and shared.
Before you start
A Gumlet account with your videos uploaded.
Your Gumlet Secret Key (Gumlet Dashboard → Security settings).
1. Turn on the add-on
Go to Academy LMS → Add-ons and turn on Gumlet Video Integration.
2. Connect Gumlet
Go to Academy LMS → Settings → Pages → Learn Page and find Gumlet Video Integration.
1.Paste your Gumlet Secret Key.
2.Collection ID (optional): add it if you group videos into Gumlet Collections.
3.Token Expiry: how long a signed link stays valid, in seconds. The default is 3600 (one hour).
4.Turn on Signed URL if it is turned on in your Gumlet Dashboard.
5.Click Save.
3. Add a Gumlet video to a lesson
1.Open the lesson in the course builder.
2.Under Lesson Settings, set Video Source to Gumlet.
3.Enter the video’s Asset ID from Gumlet and save the lesson.
The video now plays in Gumlet’s player on the learn page.
