Sell a block of course seats to an organization, split it into teams, and let the organization’s own leaders manage it. You can set when seats start and end, a default validity per course, and per-seat prices that drop as the number of seats rises. Group Plus is a Pro add-on.
1. Turn on the add-on
Go to Academy LMS → Add-ons, search for Group Plus (under User Management) and switch it on.
2. Create a group
Go to Academy LMS → Group Plus and click Add New Group.
Under General, enter the organization’s name in Group Name and click Save. Leaders see this name in their dashboard.
3. Add courses and seats
In Courses, click Add Course and fill in:

4. Add group leaders
Leaders manage the group from the frontend dashboard, without WordPress admin. In Group Leader, click Add Group Leader. Create a new user, or switch to Choose Group Leader to pick an existing one. A group can have several leaders.
5. Add teams and members
Teams split a group into smaller units, each with its own leader and courses.
A team can only get courses the group already has. Every member is enrolled in the team’s courses automatically.
6. What leaders see
Group leaders, team leaders and team members get a Group Plus item in their frontend dashboard. Leaders manage teams, members and courses there.
Item missing? Go to Settings → Permalinks in WordPress and click Save Changes.
7. Set a default seat validity for a course
Open the course, go to Settings → Group Seat Validity and choose:
This applies whenever seats are granted without an end date. An Access End Date set on the group always wins.
8. Price seats by volume
On the course’s Volume Pricing tab, add tiers of Seats (minimum) and Price per seat. Click Add Tier for more rows.
The price is flat, not banded. With tiers at 5, 25 and 50 seats, a buyer of 30 seats pays the 25-seat price on all 30. Below the lowest tier, the normal course price applies. This works with WooCommerce and StoreEngine.
When seats expire
Access stops as soon as the end date passes. A daily job then marks the package as expired and emails every group leader: “Seat access expired: [course name]”. There’s no warning email before.
