Device Login Restrictions stops students from sharing one account on many devices. You set how many devices a student can be logged in on at the same time. It is a Pro add-on.
Note: Turn on the Device Login Restrictions add-on first in Academy LMS → Add-ons.
Set the device limit
Go to Academy LMS → Settings → Advanced → Device Login Restrictions (1). Switch on Limit Multiple Device Access (2), and enter a number in Set Login Session Limits (3), for example 2. Click Save (4).
The limit applies to students. Administrators and instructors are not limited.
When a student reaches the limit
If a student tries to log in on one more device, the login is blocked with a message. The message has a Reset Active Device button. When the student clicks it, their other logins are signed out, and they can log in on the new device.
