Welcome back once again to the Academy LMS documentation section. This documentation will take you through the Email Addon of Academy LMS email settings, a Pro feature of this plugin. With this feature, you will get access to a centralized emailing option. Students, teachers, and users will get automated emails with this feature.
First of all, go to Addons and activate the Email Addon to get this feature activated on your site.
Then go to Academy LMS > Settings, where you will find the Email settings available.
General Settings #
In General settings, You can do the following things:
- Set Recipients of the email
- Set Content Type (HTML, Plain Text)
- Create Footer Text
Enroll Course #
Next comes the Enroll Course option, where Admin, Instructor, and Student will have their separate email settings. Click on “Edit template” to customize the email. But the settings are similar, and you get to do the following things:
- Enable or Disable the notification for Admin
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
So, when a student gets enrolled in a course, Admin, Instructor, and Student will be notified via automated email that you will create via Email settings.
Finished Course #
Following comes the email settings for the Finished Course, where Admin, Instructor, and Student have their separate email settings. When a student finishes a course, Admin, Instructor, and Student will get automated emails created via email settings. Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things from the Finished Course Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification for Admin
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
Become An Instructor #
When it comes to Becoming An Instructor Email settings, things are a bit different. When someone applies to become an instructor, the admin will get an automated Request email. Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things from the Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification for Admin
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
Instructor will also get an email that his/her application is received and it is under review. Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things from the Instructor Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification for Instructor
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
If the Admin is accepted as an instructor, he will get an automated acceptance email.
Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things from the Accept Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification for Instructor
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
But if the application is denied, the person will get an automated denied email from your eLearning site.
Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things from the Denied Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification Instructor
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
Student Registration #
When a student register as a student then Admin will get an email notification. Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things for New Student registration for Admin Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification Admin
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
And also student will get an email as confirm mail.
Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things for New Student registration for Student Email settings:
- Enable or Disable the notification Student
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
Email Verify #
Now it’s come Email Verify. When a new instructor and student register on your website they will get email verification email first, then all sequence mail.
Click on “Edit template” to customize the email.
You can do the following things for Email Verify settings:
- Enable or Disable Email Verify
- Create a subject line
- Create Email Heading
- Put the Additional Content (Email Body)
- Get a Template Preview (Right side)
