Lessons hold the learning material of your course: text, images, video and files. You can create a lesson from inside a course, or on its own and add it to courses later.
Create a lesson from a course
Open your course, go to the Builder step and open a curriculum. Click Add New Content, then Add Lesson.
This opens the lesson editor. Enter a Lesson Title (1) and write the Lesson Content (2). On the right, you can upload a Feature Image (3) and an Attachment (4) such as a PDF or DOCX file that students can download.
Under Lesson Settings (1), pick a Video Source (Youtube, Vimeo, External URL, Embedded, HTML 5 (mp4) or Shortcode) and add the video. Set the Video Playback Time so students know how long the lesson is. When you are done, click Publish Lesson (2).
If the Course Preview add-on is on, you also see Preview Lesson. Turn it on to let students view the lesson without enrolling. See Course Preview.
Add a lesson you already created
You can use one lesson in more than one course. In the curriculum, click Reuse Content (1), tick the lessons you want (2), and save the course.
Create a lesson on its own
Go to Academy LMS → Lessons and click Add New Lesson. The same lesson editor opens. After you publish, the lesson appears in this list and you can add it to any course with Reuse Content.
