Academy LMS splits quiz work in two. The quiz builder walks you through one quiz in three steps. The question bank keeps every question you write in one library, so you can reuse a question in as many quizzes as you like.
Quizzes is a free add-on. Four of the seven question types need Academy LMS Pro.
Turn on Quizzes
Go to Academy LMS → Add-ons, search for Quizzes (under Course Features) and switch it on.
This adds three screens under Academy LMS → Content → Quizzes: All Quizzes, Questions and Quiz Attempts.
Create a quiz
Go to Content → Quizzes → All Quizzes and click Add New Quiz. The editor has three steps: Quiz Info, Questions and Settings. You can jump back to any step at any time.
1. Quiz Info
Enter a Quiz Title. Add a Description if you want to explain the rules before students start. Click Save & Continue.
2. Questions
Drag the handle on a row to change the order.
Each question has these fields:

On the right, Question settings has Answer required, Randomize Answer, Display points and Negative Marking. Negative marking takes points away for a wrong answer. Leave it at 0 to turn it off.

Add the quiz to a course
A quiz reaches students only once it is in a course. Open the course, go to the Builder step, open a curriculum and click Add New Content → Quiz. Pick your quiz, or create one without leaving the course.
The question bank
Go to Content → Quizzes → Questions. Each row shows the question, its Type, Level, Points and Used in (how many quizzes use it). A question in no quiz shows Unused.
A reused question is shared, not copied. Editing it changes it in every quiz that uses it. Check Used in before you edit.
Lock the browser during a quiz
Go to Academy LMS → Settings → Pages → Learn Page and turn on Browser Lock under Quiz Proctoring. Quizzes then open in fullscreen. If a student leaves fullscreen, they choose to go back or finish the quiz. The quiz is never submitted for them.
This setting applies to every quiz on the site.
Review attempts
Go to Content → Quizzes → Quiz Attempts. Each attempt shows the Course, Questions, Answers, Marks and Result. Open one for details, or click Export to download the results.
