The Notes feature in Academy LMS enhances productivity by allowing both Admins and Students to take personal notes directly within the platform. Whether you’re an admin jotting down internal reminders or a student taking key points from a lesson, this feature ensures your thoughts are captured and saved automatically—right where you need them.
How to Enable the Notes Feature? #
To start using the Notes feature, follow these simple steps:
Navigate to Academy LMS Settings. Under the General tab, you’ll find the Notes toggle option. Switch it ON to activate the feature.
Save the Settings. Once toggled, the Notes option will automatically be added to your dashboard panel. No further action is required
For Admins: Taking Notes #
Once enabled, admins will see a “Notes” tab in their dashboard sidebar.
Click on Notes to open the note-taking panel. Type in anything you want to remember—be it task lists, reminders, or content drafts.
Notes are auto-saved, so there’s no need to click a save button..
For Students: Taking Lesson Notes #
Students can access the Notes feature directly from the Learn Page during any lesson.
On the right-hand side, just below the lesson video, students will find the “Take Notes” section.
This allows them to jot down key takeaways while watching the lesson. Like with admin notes, student notes are saved automatically in real-time.
